Overview:
L'oriental is amazing, no seriously, amazing. You go here for great food and, if you book the tappanyaki bar or if you happen to be there when someone else has, you litterally watch them cook your meal right in front of you, with fancy tricks, flips of utensils and fire, lots of fire. Not a grill fire, the cook sets oil on fire to make a giant fireball in front of you. The menu has lots of typical Asian-style food choices, like pad-tai, dim-sum and sushi, but you have got to try the teppanyaki bar menu. It's a menu of different cuts of steaks, chicken and even freshly caught local fish made on the teppanyaki bar, so you know it's made to order. That is what seperates this restaurant from the others, that it has something that not many other restaurants have, well in Bermuda at least.
Review:
Food is great here. Through my many visits, I have tried many dishes and they were all splendid, but the best was the different cuts of steak on the teppanyaki bar. I come to L'oriental so many times just for this. Why? 'Cause it's great, that's why. All of the servers are friendly and happy to serve you your order, just like the staff from the?Green Lantern,?except much more formal. The decor is good, but it could do with some work. Last time I went here, just after new years I believe, they were just starting renovations on re-decorating so it may have improved. Here are the full reviews on L'oriental:
Food: 9/10
Decor: 8/10
Service:10/10
Overall: 9/10
