Its large collection of military uniforms, weapons and other memorabilia of items from the past wars where England participated in are something worthy to be viewed and admired.

If you still cannot get enough of the sights here, check out the library and archive. It contains a huge collection of books and artefacts. The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. There is a small admission fee to enter the museum. If you are visiting this museum as a group, you can avail of the group discounts.

Bodwin Town Museum

Another must-visit place is the Bodwin Town Museum. It is easy to go here if you are staying at the spacious Fowey holiday cottages.? The museum is home to many different collections of fossils, minerals and ores that existed during World War II. A Cornish kitchen is on display here as well as old photographs of Cornwall. Amazing artefacts about the fire service, agriculture, wildlife and the archaeology of Cornwall can also be found in this museum.? You and your children can gain so much information by viewing the exhibits on the Bronze Age culture and the military history. The museum is open Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Bodwin Tour Museum is closed on Sundays and bank holidays.
