Full Time Tennis Coach
Due to the growth of our business two busy tennis centres and pro-shops located 15 minutes north of the Brisbane CBD are seeking the services of a suitably qualified full-time tennis coach to work in our growing centres and school based tennis coaching programs. We have a small loyal team who are passionate about tennis, committed to self-improvement and customer service.

This position offers the ability for a professional tennis coach to work in a relaxed and enjoyable environment, obtain full-time employment and expand their skills in the areas of coaching, sports administration, marketing and retailing.

Position Overview:

• Coaching groups, squads and private lessons both junior and adult.
• Management, training and development of junior tennis coaches
• Assistance with the organisation and administration of coaching staff and classes.
• Further development and delivery of our coaching marketing plan.
• Customer communications and feedback.
• Assistance with the operation of our pro-shop.

Start date: Term 4, 2011.

Ideally the candidate will be an energetic and qualified tennis coach with at least two years coaching experience. You will need to be proficient in coaching students of all ages and standards, have excellent communication and organisation skills and have the ability to induct, train and manage others. Our centre is focused on the continual improvement and growth of our coaching business and therefore you will need to have a strong interest in marketing and development of new programs. The successful candidate will be required to work across both centres in a coaching and retail role.

This position will assist the Director of Coaching with the management and administration of the coaching program. The successful candidate will be expected to develop their skills over time, take responsibility and move into a more managerial role within the business in the future.

Qualifications:

• Tennis Coaching Accreditation & Blue Card
• Own transport
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to organise, train and motivate others.
• Interest in retailing and marketing.
• Basic level of computer literacy (MS Office)

Remuneration: Full-time position with a remuneration package of approximately $55,000 depending on experience inclusive of annual leave, superannuation, bonuses and other entitlements.
