So, can this thing only play PC games by streaming them from a nearby PC over Wi-Fi, or does it actually have internal storage for them?
?
Also, I find the battery life very hard to believe if it's as powerful as they say.
?
Realistically (and I do hope I'm wrong), but I can see this tanking even harder than the Vita for very similar reasons. :/ Right from the PSP, Sony have been about trying to emulate full home console games on a handheld, rather than actually making handheld games. By nature, console games and handheld games have somewhat different uses, and whilst some console games will perfectly suit to a handheld, others simply won't.
?
Handheld games need to be relatively drop-in, drop-out; people play these things on commutes, after all. Add to that the fact that it's bulky as hell and that's another thing hardly in its favour.?
?
And if you can only play PC games via streaming from the PC, why would anyone choose to play on this instead of the PC itself? It just feels like there'll be an even smaller market base for this than the Vita, which is already nothing to write home about.
