Parkinson?s support group hosts banquet
West Texas Parkinson?s Disease Support Group will host its annual banquet at 6 p.m. Monday at the Knipling Education Conference Center.
The Covenant Health support group meets once a month to talk about a topic dealing with Parkinson?s disease and to give patients and caregivers a time to relate with others in the community dealing with the same issues.
This year?s banquet will honor PD patients who have served in the military as well as all patients who have supported the group through the year.
Admission for PD patients and their caregivers is free, and admission for others is $10. RSVP to 725-0941 or 725-0942. The Knipling Education Conference Center is located on the sixth floor of the west parking garage at the corner of 21st Street and Louisville Avenue.
